Hit a brick wall?

I, for one, quite literally ran into one of my walls (I have many, apparently) this past week. For me, a brick wall is a limitation, a limiting belief, a recurring problem or mistake, or something in my life I have been frustratingly unable to "push through" over a long period of time. Sometimes, I am able to ignore these walls that I have up, but sometimes, somehow the flow of life backs me up into a corner and there I am, up against the wall.

In asana practice, this physically looks like areas of the body that are "stuck" and for some reason, these areas are a perpetual problem. Generally, we like to emphasize areas that we're good at and avoid areas that are stuck or difficult. So without conscious and intentional correction, it's pretty easy to avoid these stuck areas most of the time. And as a result, they stay stuck.
